The article discussed about the continuation of eigendecompositions of a matrix valued function. The results on smoothness of orthogonal decompositions to Hessenberg form and on decompositions to bidiagonal structure from a Hessenberg were analyzed. In case of two blocks of eigenvalues, the benefits offered by the Hessenberg reduction became minor.
