High-quality detector-grade CVD diamond films have been irradiated with fast neutrons up to 2×1015 n/cm2 (1 MeV neutron-equivalent). Thermally stimulated currents (TSC) and thermoluminescence (TL) analysis have been performed. After irradiation, a decrease in the TSC and TL signal intensity is observed, while no significant changes in the spectrum shape are found. The TSC analyses have been performed as a function of the electric field and the results have been discussed in terms of the Poole–Frenkel effect.

Abstract
High-quality detector-grade CVD diamond films have been irradiated with fast neutrons up to 2×1015 n/cm2 (1 MeV neutron-equivalent). Thermally stimulated currents (TSC) and thermoluminescence (TL) analysis have been performed. After irradiation, a decrease in the TSC and TL signal intensity is observed, while no significant changes in the spectrum shape are found. The TSC analyses have been performed as a function of the electric field and the results have been discussed in terms of the Poole–Frenkel effect.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
