Structural evolution of the contact area between Alpine and Variscan Corsica in the area between Corte and Inzecca Massif

The authors present some preliminary data collected during a geological and structural survey performed in the last years in the area comprised between Corte and Inzecca Massif, along the contact between Alpine and Hercynian Corsica. The stages of the Alpine orogenic deformation are here defined, and three main tectonic units are distinguished, on the base of their inferred different tectonometamorphic history.
