Contributo alla conoscenza di flora e vegetazione spontanea delle Riserve Naturali di Valle dell’Inferno-Bandella e Ponte a Buriano-Penna (Arezzo, Toscana).

Contribution to the knowledge of the flora and vegetation of the natural reserves “Valle dell’Inferno-Bandella” and “Ponte a Buriano-Penna” (Arezzo, Tuscany) — This study deals with the flora and vegetation of two natural reserves located along the Arno river in the province of Arezzo (Tuscany). Woods, riparian vegetation, shrublands and grasslands have been described by means of 43 phytosociological relévés. Floristic collections yielded a list of 487 taxa, for which life-form and chorological element have been reported. A comparison of the flora and vegetation of the two reserves has allowed to evaluate their habitat diversity and bioecological relevance and to identify the species and vegetation types worthy of conservation.
