The Authors suggest a generalisation of the geological, morphological and geobotanical data-bases to integrate them in one mapping solution. All data-locations are linked to the Digital Terrain Model and to the structural constraints of the island. The resulting synthetic cartography directly refers about the hierarchy of the information contents in each topic.
