A nonlinear two-phase kinetic model is developed for dust transport and coagulation in an interstellar cloud. The nonlinear problem is shown to be equivalent to a linear one, for which existence, uniqueness and positivity of the solution are proved. Other properties of the model are investigated, such as conservation and decay laws.
