L'ambiguità della nostalgia. Sull'onomastica di Aldo Palazzeschi

Il saggio esamina la produzione di un autore fra i più creativi da un punto di vista onomastico, percorrendone l’intera produzione: dall’onomastica misteriosa dei volumi giovanili, interpretabile con il ricorrere di profonde suggestioni autobiografiche e simboliche a quella ironica, ricchissima e multiforme delle novelle più tarde, che gioca allusivamente con calchi vernacoli e popolareschi, doppi sensi e inversioni in un sapientissimo e divertito teatro del mondo. ********* The study examines the production of an author who was among the most creative from the point of view of onomastics, and runs through his entire production: from the mysterious onomastics of his youthful volumes, which can be interpreted by having recourse to profound autobiographical and symbolic suggestions, to the ironic one, which is very rich and multiform for the later novelle. It plays allusively with vernacular and popular-type calques, double meanings, and inversions on a very masterly and sardonic world’s stage.
