The BRISP project is an Italian–German collaboration for the construction of a thermal neutron Brillouin scattering time-of-flight spectrometer at the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL, Grenoble). Such instrument will allow small momentum transfer investigations of the dynamic structure factor of disordered and magnetic systems, with good energy and momentum transfer resolution. We report on the present advanced state of the project and on the simulations of the spectrometer performances presently in progress.

Abstract
The BRISP project is an Italian–German collaboration for the construction of a thermal neutron Brillouin scattering time-of-flight spectrometer at the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL, Grenoble). Such instrument will allow small momentum transfer investigations of the dynamic structure factor of disordered and magnetic systems, with good energy and momentum transfer resolution. We report on the present advanced state of the project and on the simulations of the spectrometer performances presently in progress.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
