Response of aggregated C. undecimnotata to chemical and physical stimuli have been investigated in a multi-choice arena. Two set of experiments were performed. In the first experiment the following treatments were tested: 1) glass dummy beetle, 2) live conspecific males or females, 3 dummy beetles plus consepecifics, 4) control. In the second experiment were tested 1) glass dummy beetle, 2) dummy beetles treated with C. undecimnotata n-heptane body extracts, 3) dummy beetles plus consepecifics, 4) control. All individuals were observed to determine the time spent and the walking parameters in each area of the multi-choice arena.
