The EU project MIND attempts to overcome the ineffective manual tasks and all required steps are done automatically and invisible to a user. Abstract
The various aspects of the MIND project, which gives the user the impression of dealing with a homogeneous multimedia digital library, are discussed. With thousands of digital libraries (DL) in the web, a user has to select relevant DL, reformulate the query with respect to each DL, and reorganize the different results. The EU project MIND attempts to overcome the ineffective manual tasks and all required steps are done automatically and invisible to a user. Different user interfaces can be connected to the MIND backend. Within the project, a HTML-based and two Java-based UIs have been developed.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
