In this paper is presented an analysis of existent ecological checklists, usual tools for eco-design, which are able to characterize the environmental impact of a product and to set the direction of improvment. The checklist is a list of phrases or questions that consent to analyze systematically a specific problem. generally, through a parametric index it's possible to get a numeric value relative to intervention precedence. The ordered set of these values can be hard to understand; it's possible, indded, that the index variability is not sufficient to discriminate the action to get. Objective of this paper is the realization of ecological tools, based on a parametric index, calculated by the fuzzy arithmetic, which is able to improve the results provided by the widespread checklists.
