Abstract
This study defines a mathematical model to evaluate the semicontinuos casting process in industrial moulds in order to forecast: temperature distribution in the forming ingot, consequent thermal flows and the liquid-solid interface configuration. The results of the model are correlated with data obtained by direct experimental temperature measurements carried out at L.M.I. factory.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
