A fault diagnosis procedure for analog linear circuits based on the use of neural networks is presented. The innovative aspect of the proposed approach consists in the exploitation of the information given by testability and ambiguity groups for the choice of the neural network architecture. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is shown through an example already appeared in literature.
