This paper describes an experimental set which has been designed to acquire and analyse radar echoes received in the presence of atmospheric precipitation. Such a set allows for acquisition and analysis of dual-polarization radar echoes. The recorded data are processed in order to determine range and Doppler spectral and cross-spectral behaviour of dual-polarization clutter echoes as well as to analyse performance of a closed-Ioop adaptive polarization canceller used for on-line estimation of correlation between the orthogonally polarized signals. First measurements are planned by using "L" and "S" Air Traffic Control (ATC) primary radars.
