Some ground based and aircraft experiments have been carried out by means of microwave radiometers at different frequencies (1.4, 9.6, 36.6 GHz). Methodologies for soil moisture, roughness and plant biomass estimation from microwave data are taken into consideration since these parameters are relevant for modeling and studying infiltration and erosion processes.

Abstract
