Abstract
The establishment of the Heritage Value in the Transforming City is a crucial requirement to face future projects. A next step is to consider in much greater detail the how and the why for a sustainable urban change. To deliver the best possible value, that it looks particularly at large regeneration projects throughout Europe, is essential analysing urban and architectural matters according to a sensitive design process and approaching interventions at every scale and at the various contexts of the contemporary city. The central matter is to deeper understand regeneration schemes and how regeneration projects have to fight against difficulties and conflicts from conception to implementation. Certainly, to reach common criteria for preservation, evaluation and regeneration of built heritage/Industrial heritage and to deeper understand change process throughout European context should be useful a comparative way of doing for more interaction and learning from other EU member states. In this framework, it will be essential to define policies, strategies, parameters and methods of implementation of design in order to achieve and appraise sustainability and urban complexity. The importance of rethinking how to work at different levels from local to regional and aim not just for short-term plans but for long-term results. But how to acknowledge that every aspect of sustainable thinking can bring to the: -Establishment of built “heritage value” and “heritage status” -Foundation of creative theory and practice in preservation, evaluation and regeneration of built heritage -Creation of sustainable/creative schemes and Masterplans -Good practice on regeneration and development of sensitive areas and buildings -Adoption of environmental and ecological design on built heritage.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
