The exposure to chainsaw vibrations. The influence of some parameters. The article resume a research concerning forestry workers and their exposure to several risks due to a continuous use of the chainsaw and mainly to the consequences of the vibrations given by this machine to the hand/arm system, including possible vascular, articulation, neurological and muscular diseases. The vibrations given out by chainsaws, under normal working conditions, have been measured and verified, quantifying the workers exposure in relation to: chainsaw, chain type, gear maintenance condition.
