Vulnerabilities and strengths in marital quality and stability: A multidimensional perspective.

SUMMARY. The Author’s purpose to provide a scientific literature review about the predictive factors in marital quality and marriage stability. Analysis of the assumptions underlying research point out the influence of interpersonal, relational, contextual, psychological variables as risk and defence factors on the marital quality and stability marriage. Key tasks for research in analyzing both the integration between competing processes and the differentiation in general results are discussed within the framework of a multidimensional perspective. In conclusion, the author outlines the implications these findings could have for ongoing efforts towards preventing marital disfunctions.
