The development of an accurate car front-end design, which is the first part involved in the car-to-pedestrain impact, with the help of numerically simulated pedestrian protection system equipped with piezoelectric sensor, is discussed. The piezoeelctic PVDF films is placed on a vehicle's front bumper to measure the strain in response to an impact an object. The impacted object, if it is a pedestrian, can be shown in function of strain. The bumper's strain can also be determined in particular using the electrical signal generated by sensors. The mathematical law between the voltage and the strain is determined to measure the sensor's strain considering the voltage produced by the sensor itself.
