Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) is more and more used in the structural consolidation else of concrete and of masonry structures. As it is well known, at least for a structural collapse analysis, the key ingredients in the design of CFRP reinforcements are the maximum load and the effective bond length, beyond which no increase the maximum load. In the paper the main results of an experimental campaign devoted to the determination of the said maximum load and effective length of CFRP reinforcement applied to brick samples is reported and described.

Abstract
Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) is more and more used in the structural consolidation else of concrete and of masonry structures. As it is well known, at least for a structural collapse analysis, the key ingredients in the design of CFRP reinforcements are the maximum load and the effective bond length, beyond which no increase the maximum load. In the paper the main results of an experimental campaign devoted to the determination of the said maximum load and effective length of CFRP reinforcement applied to brick samples is reported and described.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
