Il corpo nella disabilità. Da dimensione occultata a medium formativo

Rivolgendo il suo sguardo alla storia del pensiero pedagogico del Novecento, l’autrice offre un saggio significativo sul tema della dimensione della corporeità nella disabilità. Tale dimensione si è andata sempre più affermando superando le letture parziali che se ne sono date nella storia. Nella tematizzazione del nesso corporeità/disabilità è possibile individuare due focus: in primo luogo il ruolo giocato dal corpo a partire dagli studi sulle paralisi cerebrali infantili; in secondo luogo il valore formativo della pratica sportiva per la persona con disabilità. The author of the essay focuses on the dimension of corporeity in disability through an indepth look at the history of pedagogic thought of the ‘900s, this dimension has always been gaining importance overcoming the partial interpretations given by history. From the thematization of the link between corporeity/disability two main points can be traced: in the first place the role played by the the body, starting from the studies on infant cerebral palsy; in the second place the importance of training of the body through sport activities for the disabled person.
