Abstract

The studies on understanding and dating of archaeological discoveries, it requires a long and complex process that involves many responsibilities (technical, administrative, economic, legal, regulatory), namely with contradiction between them, and thus long-standing. Ιn the present study it is trying to interpret and analyze the natural and antropic hazards (history of damages, structures providing temporary protection, exploitation of tourism, etc..) that now are going two of these Pella-s tombs. It is proposed the reinforcement of its individual structural members or of the entire monument, so that suspended the de facto established its vulnerability, in order to maintain 1) its Monumental Aspect, and, 2) the visual quality of surfaces of its constituted materials. The study was conducted within a funding of the World Heritage Center, for a preliminary study of one of these graves, granted to CICOP.Hellas (International Centre for Conservation of Architectural Heritage).
