A New Statistical Zoning for the Municipality of Firenze

In the last decades the need of information referred to small territorial levels is considerably grown. In the Municipality of Firenze the most of statistical information is referred both to the whole municipal territory and to the five main districts (quarters) in which it is split. However there is a substantial demand of data referred to smaller areas. In this work we deal with some methods to define a zoning system which could be useful for a wide range of statistical objectives.
