The first appearance of K-feldspar (230 degree -270 degree C), epidote (230 degree -290 degree C), tremolite-actinolite (290 degree -340 degree C) and albite (T 330 degree C) gives vertical distribution patterns of temperatures in good agreement with the present-day isotherms. In the Mt. Amiata field albite, calcite, K-mica, quartz, plus or minus K-feldspar plus or minus chlorite were deposited in the range 250 degree -350 degree C.

Abstract
At Larderello an older phase of hydrothermal activity (350 degree -580 degree C) was characterized by wollastonite, andradite, clinopyroxene, plagioclase (An 1-60%), biotite, tourmaline and sulphides. In a more recent phase (150 degree -450 degree C), K-feldspar, albite, epidote, chlorite, sphene, tremolite-actinolite, clinopyroxene and sulphides were deposited. In the Mt. Amiata field albite, calcite, K-mica, quartz, plus or minus K-feldspar plus or minus chlorite were deposited in the range 250 degree -350 degree C.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
