Abstract
The peculiarity of using methods of graphical statics lies in its outstanding flexibility and in the related possibility of easily modelling a wide variety of structural shapes. These methods are furthermore valid whenever applied to the analysis of existing masonry structures. Some graphical methods for the analysis of axial-symmetrical domes are presented in this paper. In particular, the analysis concentrates on the original method concerning the static analysis of masonry domes described by M.
