Analyses from the initial The Sociocultural Attitudes Towards Appearance Questionnaire-4 (SATAQ-4) development and validation study using a large sample of women from the southeastern United States resulted in a five-factor solution, which was confirmed in two geographically distinct U.S. samples. The current study examines the factor structure, internal consistency, and construct validity of the 22-item SATAQ-4 in two separate Non-U.S. samples of women.
