Sensitivity detection of oxygen at high temperature is reported using a simple spectrometer based on a DFB-laser. Measurements for the RR(N = 7) and the RR(N = 9) magnetic dipole transitions of the b1Σg+(v′ = 0) ← X3Σg−(v″ = 0) band at 761 nm were performed from a few Torr to atmospheric pressure and for different temperatures up to 400°C. Self-broadening and N2-broadening coefficients were extracted, and their dependence on the temperature was investigated.

Abstract

Sensitivity detection of oxygen at high temperature is reported using a simple spectrometer based on a DFB-laser. Measurements for the RR(N = 7) and the RR(N = 9) magnetic dipole transitions of the b1Σg+(v′ = 0) ← X3Σg−(v″ = 0) band at 761 nm were performed from a few Torr to atmospheric pressure and for different temperatures up to 400°C. Self-broadening and N2-broadening coefficients were extracted, and their dependence on the temperature was investigated.
