We propose a preliminary report of possible causes of the observed arsenic anomaly of the Pecora valley (Scarlino, Grosseto): according to our study, this anomaly resulted from an interplay between quaternary geology and ore-forming processes in the adjoining Metalliferous Hills.

Abstract
