Abstract
During the Energy Research Project. financed by the Italian Government, a two-dimensional section of the last stage of a steam turbine was built to explore blade behavior in terms of stability. and to check some mathematical models. In this paper we deal with the steady state condition. Aimed at discussing the usefulness of inviscid predictions, the work includes comparisons between experiments and numerical results obtained with the TRAF2MG code developed at the Department of Energy Engineering of the University of Florence. Results are presented for a large range of flow conditions and care is taken in the computation of the flow near the leading and trailing edges.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
