Abstract

The design of floor and ceiling heating panels is usually made using simple models for heat transfer and empirical evaluation to define mass flow rate and tube diameter for a given tube spacing. The method proposed here, use instead the second law to design the panels throughout the optimisation of exergetic efficiency.
