The paper discusses the IT applications to Architecture and Urban planning to enhance the project information availabilty and sharing. Early possibilities of real world virtual simulation are discussed; in particular the methodology for town modelling using GIS tech is demostrated. Through the methodology the designer is able to query critical environmental information needed to face the problems to solve during the project development.
