The visibility of the Roma within legal literature has decidedly increased in recent time. Although a few years ago it was extremely difficult to find works devoted to the Roma in “mainstream” legal journals and standard law libraries almost anywhere in Europe, these are now relatively common. The legal status of the Roma is now respectable topic. The paper focuses on life of Gypsies in legal literature.
