The paper shows a simplified procedure to compute a seismic analysis of a masonry tower. Masonry is modelled as a no-tensile resistant material (NTR) which might be affected by randomness in its mechanical parameters. It is assumed that the first modal shape governs the structural motion, and its behaviour is modelled by means of a Bouc & Wen approach, which is eventually linearized
