We study the problem of the description of a dynamical system of hard disks moving with a finite number of velocities. For such a system starting from the Liouville equation, we derive the BBGKY hierarchy and we give its rigorous mathematical justification. Finally we show that the first equation of the hierarchy corresponds formally to the so-called discrete Enskog equation, derived in a previous paper.
