This can be due to the size reduction of bulky prostatic tumours and optimization of the target volume. The aim of this study was to evaluate if leuprorelin exerts itself a protective effect on irradiated bowel.

Abstract

Prostate cancer patients treated with neoadjuvant androgen ablation experience less radiation-induced intestinal toxicity.
