Digrafia nel Trecento: Andrea Lancia e Francesco di ser Nardo da Barberino

È fatto sempre più evidente che, nel corso del Trecento e del Quattrocento, come riflesso di una situazione grafica straordinariamente articolata, i copisti italiani sono in grado di usare scritture diverse. I loro comportamenti si possono inscrivere in tre categorie o situazioni di 'digrafia', che vengono descritte, con esempi. Sono infine analizzati con maggiore dettaglio i casi di Andrea Lancia e Francesco di ser Nardo da Barberino, con alcune osservazioni metodologiche. It has been shown with ever greater clarity that, in the course of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, as a consequence of an extraordinarily complex graphical situation, Italian copyists had the ability to employ different scripts. Their approaches can be assigned to three categories of "digraphia," which are described, with examples, in this article. Finally, the article analyzes in greater detail the cases ofAndrea Lancia and Francesco di ser Nardo da Barberino, and offers some methodological observations.
