This special issue is aimed at collecting the most recent technical and scientific advances in the field of detection, mapping, monitoring and early warning for landslides. Both ground-based and remote sensing technologies are accounted for, at application scales ranging from the local to the regional scale. Papers dealing with practical applications and/or operational protocols are particularly welcome.
