XIth International Conference on the Study and Conservation of Earthen Architectural Heritage, Terra 2012 The International Scientific Committee on Earthen Heritage (ICOMOS/ISCEAH) and the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) are pleased to announce the International Conference on the Study and Conservation of Architectural Heritage, TERRA 2012. The Ibero-American Seminar on Earthen Architecture and Construction (XII SIACOT) and SismoAdobe 2012 have been held simultaneously, the events will take place from 22 to 27 April 2012 on the campus of the PUCP in Lima, Peru. The conference provided a unique and invaluable opportunity to discuss and exchange information on the latest advances in the conservation field. Moreover, participants learned about the cultural identity of earthen architecture in Latin America and be able to observe firsthand conservation issues in Peru, a country with a long and rich tradition of construction with earth and severe seismic activity.
