Background and Objectives The Inter Agency Network for Education (INEE) Working Group on Education and Fragility has conducted a mapping exercise to identify training programs exclusively for teachers and education workers in the field of peacebuilding and conflict transformation. The programs include tertiary programs in a broad sense, comprising both formal and non - formal programs delivered by a range of organisations,and mainly but not exclusively delivered in contexts of fragility and overt - violent conflict. From this research 34 programs have been selected for an online database to be made publicly available on the INEE website. This database provides a snapshot of teacher training programs delivered by a range of organisations, working with diverse populations of te achers and education workers, settings of conflict and stability around the globe. Four programs have been chosen from the database and presented in form of short case studies in order to illustr ate the ways in which a handful of diverse programs can contribute to the field of peacebuilding and conflict transformation.
