This paper presents the silvicultural models defined in relation to the species identified as target trees, the price of wood assortments and the amount of wood production. Cost values have been derived from the field tests organized in the experimental areas of the PProSpoT project. For each simulation, we should combine the variables used, but this would produce an almost endless number of combinations. Using only a part of the possible combinations between the variables would, on the other hand, exclude some situation that may be found in reality. So it is appropriate to determine break-even points for the variables used. To reach this goal it was necessary to choose some values for the variables that will maintain unvaried during the different simulations. These values were selected through literature and field research. The silvicultural models proposed can be considered typical of Tuscany forests.

Abstract
The silvicultural models proposed can be considered typical of Tuscany forests.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
