This paper features: i) the compartmentalization of chemical information (using microfluidics) into vesicles, ii) a stable emitter of periodic chemical signals inside compartments (Belousov- Zhabotinsky oscillating reaction) and iii) spatiotemporal monitoring of the emitted chemical signal.
