Geppino Micheletti fu un chirurgo pluridecorato che affrontò alcuni dei più drammatici eventi che caratterizzarono la storia italiana dalla fine degli anni trenta sino al secondo dopoguerra. Le sue grandi qualità ne fecero un modello intramontabile per la storia della medicina contemporanea italiana. Geppino Micheletti was a highly decorated surgeon who went through some of the most dramatic events that characterized the history of Italy since the end of the thirties to the second postwar period.His proved qualities, made him an everlasting model in the Italian contemporary history of medicine.
