Abstract
The primary purpose of the PHG (Public Health Group) seminars has always been to encourage discussion of experiences acquired in different geographical and cultural contexts and to spread the culture of sustainable projects through a description of operating methodologies deriving from the results of research in the healthcare facilities sector. The study visits program offers an important knowledge-based and contemplative contribution, which is systematically associated with conference activities to more clearly illustrate the specific characteristics of the country hosting the seminar. The Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning, the focus of one of the study visits, is a particularly innovative building in functional and technological terms: designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects Inc., it was built in Toronto in three years and it was opened in September 2013.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
