The Research Unit Lessico dei Beni Culturali aims at disseminating in-depth knowledge of the tangible and intangible cultural Italian heritage, and at providing tools to enable its diffusion, without forgetting its primary function of teaching and academic research. In this perspective, our Research Unit is setting up a lexicographical portal which contains seven monolingual dictionaries (Chinese, English, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish) connected by bilingual hyperlinks to an eighth Italian monolingual dictionary and bilingual and to monolingual text databases. We illustrate how our project can be considered innovative in its organization and content, on the basis of examples from lexicographical records currently in the form of prototypes of the three main types of words embedded in our dictionaries (specific technical terms related to the arts, Italian realia and proper names). We have focused exclusively on Italian-French relationships, which serve as a model for defining the project, while illustrating the various lexicographical components and those of our translation entries (syntagm unit, encyclopedic unit, quotes, etc.).

Abstract
We have focused exclusively on Italian-French relationships, which serve as a model for defining the project, while illustrating the various lexicographical components and those of our translation entries (syntagm unit, encyclopedic unit, quotes, etc.).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
