The conference was focused on textiles and attire during the Aegean Bronze Age. The article is the first result of the international project "Mycenaean Textiles. Texts and Contexts", in collaboration between the Service of Antiquities of Thebes, Boiotia, and the Center for Textile Research at Copenhagen, on the textile industry of Mycenaean Thebes. It presents the relevant contexts, with texts and archaeological finds, and outlines a pattern of organisation where various polyvalent economic structures were contemporary at work within the settlement. Each co-author signed his/her own paragraph. M.E. Alberti is the main author of the article and the coordinator of the project.
