Laser scanner survey of the street facades in Raksila

Il contributo presenta i risultati preliminari del rilievo digitale laser scanner e relativa post produzione eseguiti per la documentazione del quartiere di Raksila nella città di Oulu in Finlandia. Il quartiere costituisce un'importante traccia storica nello sviluppo dell'impianto urbanistico della città di Oulu. Il quartiere di Raksila è principalmente un quartiere residenziale ben conservato e caratterizzato da una forte tipicità, L'impianto è costituito da un'orditura regolare e da un sistema dei fronti su strada ordinato e omogeneo. Nonostante questo risulta ancora privo di linee guida capaci di gestire le tipologie di interventi ammessi. Per questo motivo è stato realizzato un rilievo laser scanner e una documentazione di dettaglio, attraverso i quali definire tutti gli elementi e caratteristiche del luogo per la definizione di una normativa o analisi di supporto per i futuri interventi da eseguirsi in totale rispetto di questo patrimonio. ENGLISH version: The paper presents the preliminary results of the digital laser scanner survey and related post production step carried out for the documentation of the Raksila district in the city of Oulu in Finland. The district is an important historical trace in the development of the urban planning of the city of Oulu. The district of Raksila is mainly a well-preserved residential district characterized by a strong typicality.The general plan consists of a regular structure and a system of street fronts on the road are ordered and in an homogeneous profile. Despite this, this part of the city still has no guidelines capable of managing the types of interventions allowed. For this reason, a laser scanner survey and detailed documentation have been created, through which all the elements and characteristics of the place are defined and collected in sort of atlas and inventory reports. This new documentation will constitute the base for the definition of a normative or support analysis for future interventions that can be carried out in total respect of this heritage.
