Do the results of the European projects in the fields of education and training have relevance outside of the narrow circle of partners? How can we enhance their innovative potential? This study provides some answers to these questions, based on the results of a survey conducted in Italy and Austria. The results show that the field professionals are involved in innovation and valorisation communities. At last, concrete examples of the valorization paths used by the professionals to satisfy the innovation needs in their work are provided.

Abstract
