Grounded on a collaborative European research initiative, this book presents and discusses the results of “Media Education for Equity and Tolerance” (MEET), a project funded by the European Union in 2016–19 within the framework of the Erasmus Plus Programme Key Action 3. Assuming an intercultural perspective while taking into consideration the role that media are increasingly playing in our societies, the MEET project developed, implemented and evaluated a series of learning resources on media and intercultural education addressed to students at risk of social exclusion. The book collects the several voices which contributed to the implementation of the project, including academics, researchers, media educators, teachers and students.
