Bilateral kidney tumor: Management and feasibility

In current available literature there is a lack of data about the incidence of bilateral renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and its management. International guidelines recommend to prioritize nephron sparing surgery (NSS) for patients with bilateral tumors, if possible and technically feasible. In fact, preservation of renal parenchyma represents a strong predictor of functional outcomes after partial nephrectomy (PN). The aim of our study is to show the management of three different heterogeneous clinical scenarios of bilateral RCCs.
