The Risem project, financed by Par Fas Regione Toscana, aims to study le vulnerability of the towers of San Gimignano with an interdisciplinary approach. The investigations carried out revealed many constructive peculiarities of the towers, such as the extraordinary dimensions of the walls and the exceptional quality of the mortars.
